eNDed school early and went to shop for a while with Adeline and Leon at Suntec while waiting for the time to be up. Had a fun time playing arcade with them! Glen arrived shortly after and the four of us walked back to City Link to New York New York for dinner! LUckily, for me that i had made a reservation there at 7.30pm! WE went in there around 7. 15pm. There were a long queue of people there! Met up with Monica, Keith and Esther and we all went in the restaurant and started taking photos!
After a short while later, Agnes came with her daughter Faith, and we ordered our food and then took photos again haha.

I had Latino chicken chop for dinner! IT was delicious!
Then after that, Adeline and i started to unwrap our presents!
AFter that, suddenly SURPRISE! The crew came with a birthday cake and they and our friends sang happy birthday to both of us! I was surprised and happy! There were cherries on the birthday cake and Adeline fed me one, i fed her one, then i fed dear, Adeline fed Glen, We fed our "chor chor" Agnes and lastly Monica fed Keith with it! WE had FUN!!!
And after eating our cake, it is back to photos again!

We had an enjoyable dinner there. ANd you know what? As we were celebrating our birthday there, NEw york new york gave us a bottle of wine each! WOW! can you believe it? And we became members of New york New york on the day itself! Esther and Denise left first as they had something on. So the rest of us went on ahead to have the wine! The wine was not bad, but a bit too strong for me! I drink a little, then dear drank the rest for me! Thanks dear! We stayed there around 10 plus 11 and then we bade each other goodbye as all of us were very tired as we had woken up at 6am in the morning. We bade and hug each other goodbyes. I had an enjoyable time celebrating my birthday there as firstly, it was the first time i am celebrating it with a friend and somemore my dearie Adeline, secondly, my beloved friends were all there, thirdly, my dear dear was there celebrating it with me first time, although i had known him for like close to a decade! And lastly, the crew from New York New York was very friendly, helpful and the ambience there was very good! This is the most memorable birthday i ever had! THanks everyone who helped to contribute to making this celebration a success one way or another! Appreciate it lots!

WokE up quite late today as i watched channel 8 shows until 5 plus 6am the night before. My rElatives came to my house and we took photos and watched television and played around.
Stayed about 7 plus then i left the house to meet up with Dear at Junction 8 for a movie, "Inkheart"
We ate dinner at Mos burger and shopped for a short while before watching the movie. Most of the shops were closed. Anyway, regarding the movie, it was nice! I personallly liked the whole movie. Haha, feel happy to meet up with dear as long time didnt meet him le as he was sick. Anyway, enjoyed the day! Happy new year to everyone! :D
mEt up with Adeline and Hamimah and went to Hamimah's place for pinepapple tarts baking session. Adeline, Glen, Hamimah and Kim started making the doughs and then making the shapes using the something like mould cutter but more tedious than that haha.

Then later at around 4 plus, i joined them and took over from Adeline her job of making the dough. After making around 2 trays, Hamimah took over from me and then later i took over from her again haha. We made about 200 plus of pineapple tarts. We finally ended baking all at around 8 plus. Below are the photos and our after results.
The pineapple tarts tasted nice haha but its up to those who have sampled to comment haha. WE owned our pineapple tarts to Adeline, who is the main person who taught us how to make the tarts! We were extremely proud of ourselves and felt a great sense of satisfaction! Enjoyed the baking session with them! Thanks babes and hunks! :D
mEt up with Adeline and Agnes after school, and we went to shop around aT jUrong Point and then later had ice cream at Swensens. Took some photos there. Enjoyed ourselves talking and laughing. :)
After that Agnes went back home as she had something else to do, while me and Adeline walked for a while then we met up with Glen and Rei at Great WOrld City for the special screening invitation for the movie, "The Wedding Game"from KBox.
We were excited especially me, cause my idol Fann Wong and Christopher Lee were coming to the cinema for the movie! I was super duper lucky to get a pair of tickets and a soundtrack for the movie for the special screening for the movie, "THe wedding Game" starring Fann Wong and Christopher Lee, both my idols! Why do i say that? Because they only give out to 20 people! And i was the number 10th! Wasnt i lucky? Haha. Below is the soundtrack. I especially love the songs " Wo Men De ai" and "Wo she bu de"
When i reached the cinema, i was excited! The screen was so BIG! And another surprise greeted us! There was a voucher with a thank you exclusively given by KBOX! INside, it contains discount vouchers for kbox and others! Thanks KBox! For the first time in my life, i feel great being a KBox member! Haha.
We took photos with the gift while waiting for the actors and actress to arrive.
The show ticket there states that it commences at 7.15pm but we waited until about 7.35pm and then surprise! The DJ Jia fa from 933 came into the cinema and then he introduced the main stars in. In came, Fann Wong, christopher lee and the Other actors and actress! Oh my god! Fann Wong is very Pretty! It was dark inside the cinema, but we managed to get pictures of them although it wasnt fantastic as my camera was not a professional one and hence the flash was not bright enough That explains why the photos are so dark!! But then it is still better than nothing and its my first time watching a show with the main actress and actors talking to us! Haha! But well, too bad they werent sitting in the same cinema as us. I think they rushed down to Vivo city later on.
Anyway, the artisties came and talked to us. THe actors included Fann Wong, Christopher Lee, and the other important actors haha, i dont know their names. Took photos of them but then it was unclear as the cinema was dark and my flash for my camera was not bright enough. SUch a pity, but neverthless, below are the pictures. See if you can make out who is who haha. The movie finally started at 8pm and ended at 10 plus. WEll, if you ask me whether the movie is nice, i say not bad because i like the stars in the movie haha, but seriously i find it average lah. NOt too bad. Anyway after that was supposed to meet up with Dear for a movie at Vivo city later on but he was sick. So in the end, i watched it with Adeline instead. The movie was " Love Matters"
The movie was not bad! It starts at 11.25pm and ended close to 2am. I quite liked this movie cause it is meaningful. Anyway you all must be wondering why i am watching two movies in a day right? Haha, it is cause of this. I had actually planned to watch "Love matters" today so dear had booked the tickets a day before as we were worried that there were no seats. Then when i went to queue up for the kbox special screening for "The Wedding Game", i found out that the movie was actually at 7.15pm today as well! HEnce, i had no choice but to watch two movies on the same day! Haha! Adeline and i finally reached home round 4am! Haha but i enjoyed myselves lots but too bad for dear cause he is having a fever! Hope he recovers soon so that he can enjoy Chinese new year and go visiting! :)
I am happy because finally 2008 is OVER! Yeah! 2008 has been a bad year for me. Encounterd lots of unhappy events in my life. First, a breakup, secondly, a misunderstanding between friends, thirdly, a family member been through a life crisis and as well as things happening around. Economic crisis, china crisis, bangkok crisis and ........... How i wished 2008 will be gone soon and yeah its finally over! I believed that good things shall come in 2009! But its also through incidents that people will learn. Learn what? learn to appreciate things in life, appreciate people around you, appreciate life around you, appreciate that it is a blessing to be able to wake up everyday and to see the world. Indeed, it is a blessing. I had a neighbour whom i had always seen around my neighbourhood. He brings the dog for a walk everyday. He is i think in his 80s. Then out of a sudden, i dont see him around anymore for a few days. Then i saw a red paper on my lift at my level. Then i realized that he had passed away. I dont even know what happen. It had just been a few days ago when i saw him, then out of a sudden, he is gone. Life is unpredictable. We do not know what will happen the next minute, or hour or even days much more months. So it is of crucial importance that we treasure and cherish the people around us. We often do not show our love until it is too late. Whats wrong with showing love for the people you care for? If you care for them, do tell them and let them know. For who knows, you may regret it if you dont.
In relationships, the same thing also applies, it is not easy for two people to be together. Fate plays a crucial part. Fate may bring the right person to you at the right time, but it is still dependable on you to maintain this relationship. If you slip this chance, you might not get it again. So it is crucial to cherish and treasure the person you are with. Be faithful to each other for true love is not easy to obtain. It is easy to be loved and to love someone. But it is hard to have two people who truly love and care for each other. If you have find that person, cherish him/her.
For me? what i wished for in 2009 is quite simple, but it may not be easily obtainable or may not be true. What i want are below:
1. For him to live to a ripe old age hopefully 80?
2. For the dearest people around me to be healthy
3. To be richer
4. To own and start a family in maybe 2 years time?
5. For the dearest people and myself to be happy.
Yes, this are what i hope for in life. I consider myself lucky as i can wake up everyday knowing that i am still alive, i also have a group of awesome friends, family and boyfriend. Thats the most important thing to me. For course, who doesnt want to have monetary means right? But i mean that is what makes me feel blessed. Afterall, being satisfied is the key to gaining happiness. :) So what are you waiting for now? Show love for the person that you care for! Dont wait till its too late!

met up with monica, Adeline, Agnes, Kevin and keith and we went to attend our colleague, Zhongfa's wedding at St Andrew Cathedral. It was a grand wedding! The whole cathedral was full! Big congratulations to Zhongfa and his wife, Ivy and wish both of you everlasting happiness, great health, wealth and may all things go smoothly for you!
After that we went to suntec and then millena walk and then marina square to walk about. Took photos as well.

met up with Adeline, Glen and dear at holland V foR a sumputous diNner at aN iTalian rEstauRant known as Amici. It was quiTe a high rAngE resTaUrant.
It was difficult to read from the menu as the words were in italian language. Haha but inthe end, i ordered a ham and bacon sapgetti haha.
We took photos while waiting for the food. We bought christmas hat as well haha. The garlic bread came and it was super nice! Haha we took photos with the hats as well! There were white wine as well! It was nice!
After that we had this another bread that came but i dont know whats that but it was nice as well!
After that our food came and tthen we took photos with the food haha.
The food was delicious! We had a one hour plus dinner there busy taking photos and drinking wine haha. After that we decided to take photos with the pretty chrismas tree located in the restuaruant and take a group photo as well.
We walked around the holland v for a short while and decided to go to clarke quay instead. Took photos in the car.
Finally reached clarke quay! There were super lots of people there! We walked around and took photos while waiting for count down.
Then later, we heard people counting 10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!!! MeRRY X'mas! And then people all started spraying foam! We got sabo as well! Haha After that we walked around a bit more and took photos.
We stayed there around 1 plus am before deciding to go to my house for another session. Thats all folks! Had an enjoyable celebration with them! Cheers! :)
17th December 2008 Wednesday
Woke up early today at 4.00am. Reason being i could not sleep as i was excited! In about 3 hours time, i would be on my way to Genting with dear! Well, this isnt like i had not been to Genting before, but the feeling is different this time as i am going with my loved ones! I l left my house at 5.30am and took a cab. Reach there around 6.10am. We were supposed to be there by 6.30am. Alas when i was there, i thought i was earlier than him. But he was already there! So early! Then i saw Yaoqi, my friend from school as well! He was going with two other guys which i am not sure who! Coincidentally, they were on the same bus as us! THen i realized that i know one of the guys as well! Haha such a coincidence! The bus finally left at around 7.05am. Well, we were supposed to board a particular bus no, but then later they changed the bus, luckily we went back to check. Hmm but it was a slight confusion, so no worries there.
I was thrilled by the bus! They had a television and on the screen, you can choose to watch movies or play games. The movies have english and chinese version as well. The chairs, you can even push back so that you can like pratically like lying on bed like that! Shiok man! However, i dont know why my screen have problem that it hang! Had no choice but to not watch that. The bus driver can reset the whole thing, but it would mean all the passengers would be affected. Hence, i dropped the idea and went to sleep instead. Anyway the bus i was sitting on i think is either the executive coach or executive class! Cant remember but its about the same! http://www.fivestarsonline.com/
They stop at a local food court known as "Yong Peng" for about 30 mins for us to have breakfast. If i recall correctly, they stopped at about 9 plus 10? Then after that we continued on our journey to Genting! Finally at around 2plus 3 we reached Genting! Woo hoo! Man, it was cold! And i remembered that i forgot to bring my jacket! Blur me! Luckily, dear brought 2 jackets! And he lent me one to wear! Thanks Dear! Otherwise, i think i cold like crazy loh! Met up with Yaoqi and Viknesh and the other guy, oops sorry i forgot his name. We met up to have lunch at Kenny Rogers before separating to check in for the hotel. The meal at Kenny Rogers were cheap! RM25 per person for a main course, muffin and three side dishes plus a drink! Cheap right? Haha, anyway, after the lunch they went to check in at the tour booking counter where dear and me went to check in at the main lobby! Man,the queue was super damn long! The number that they were serving was 4 hundred plus but our number was 8 hundred plus! We waited for a whole three hours till we finally got our room! Super lots of people at Genting! Anyway, the hotel that we were staying in is First World Hotel, hence i guess the reason for the number of people there.
We waited from 3 hours before we finally got the room. We checked in at around 6 plus. The room that we got is Deluxe room.

Rested for a while before deciding to have dinner at The chinese Restaurant there. Had Claypot Bat Kuk Teh for dinner. It was damn expensive! But otherwise quite delicious! We had tim sum as well and we ate till 8 plus before making our move to the Pavillion for the Dreamz show.
The show was not exactly interesting but i was amazed by the white lion and white tiger! After that took photos with both the tiger and the lion. It costs RM100 for the photos!It was quite expensive lah, but i think it was worth it leh as in this life where would you have a chance to take a photograph with a white lion beside you and a white tiger in front of you? Haha, will upload it when i finally scan it haha. Actually, come to think of it, it was quite dangerous, the white lion is still ok, as it is being caged, but the white tiger was acutally quite dangerous. It was just sitting in front of us and we were cautious not to step on its tail when we sat behind him.
We walked to Genting Hotel there just to see the environment and stuff. In the end, we bought kfc back for supper and went back to rest.
18th December 2008 Thursday
Woke up at 7.30am today and prepared and go out to have free breakfast courtesy from the hotel. Then after that we went up to the cinema and bought tickets for "The day the earth stood still" at 1.30am. Then we decided to buy the tickets for the indoor theme park. Had fun riding on the Euro Express, bumper car, Rio Float and the Vendice Gondola.

Next we went to took the Rio Float which cruises around the whole indoor of the First world plaza.
Then we took a ride on the bumper car and the euro express. After that we saw that the outdoor theme park was open and hence we went to buy tickets and take a ride.
Oh ya by the way, if you want to enlarge the photos, just click on it. Took rides on the pirate train, the antique car, the flume train, flying dumbo as well! The flume train was like damn thrilling loh! I scream like nobody business! Both of us were like half drenched by the water! Haha! Then dear took the Rolling thunder mine train all by himself haha as i totally do not dare to take the rides. After that we walked around the park andi saw this sweet looking dumbo! Just had to take photo with it!
After that, we walked around the park some more and then we went to the flying coaster. Dear wanted to try sitting on it, i dont dare to take the ride so i took photos and waited there for him instead haha. The ride is super thrilling can! One look and you will know how scary it is! It turns your whole body upside down! haha therefore, i dont dare to take the ride! Anyway the ride is not inclusive inside so you have to pay a separate money which costs RM100. Took photos of dear waiting in line and as well as embarking on the flying coaster.
After that we went back to the hotel and changed as our clothes and jeans or bottoms were wet! Due to the flume ride as there were not just one splash but two big splashes of water loh! After changing, we took a ride on the monorail.
Then after that we went back to rest and i fell asleep as i was too tired. Then we went out to have lunch cum dinner at around 8 plus at Hainan Chicken.
After that we decided to walk about for a while and then we went to Ripley's Believe it or Not Museum! I bought a scarf just outside the museuem! It was interesting at the museum!
this is just the outside of the museum as photos were not allowed in the museuem. After that we took a break at the kopitam there And then we went back to rest again. Woke up at 10 plus and we had our dinner at 11 plus at Burger King. Ate till around 12 plus before we decided to take a ride once more on the Euro Express and The ferris wheel. After that we went to the casino to cruise around and saw Yaoqi and Viknesh and one other guy there. At around 1.25am, we left to catch our movie, "The day the earth stood still".
The movie ended at about 3 plus am. Not bad lah, the movie i think. Then after that we went to the casino and played there till about 6 plus am before finally retiring to bed.
19th December 2008 Friday
We missed the breakfast as we slept till 10 plus and then finally woke up and prepare for check out at 12 pm. We went to Pizza Hut for our lunch and ate till around 1.45pm before moving to the bus terminal for our trip back to Singapore. Met up with Yaoqi, Viknesh and the other guy. Discovered that we were not on the same bus. Such a disappointment. But alas, our bus departed at 2.30pm and after a long journey, we reached a place where they sell many local products. Bought quite a number of that. Then after that, we had a long journey back to Singapore. Finally reached Singapore at 8 plus pm. I was so damn tired! Took a cab straight home and retire to bed at 12am.
Had a fun trip with dear although it was at Genting! Definetly looking to another trip with him again! Woo hoo! :)
Met up with Latha and Hamimah at Clarke Quay and we went to this club known as Zicar which is located at the old MOS there. I was excited as this was my first time going there.
My impression of the club? Hmm, it was ok for me as i didnt reallly like the music but i was suprised by the sudden performance. THere were performances of guys just wearing shorts and dancing and doing stunts around and a lot of girls were like screaming haha! I think besides the fact that it was ladies' night, the other reason that there were so many girls could be this haha.

We stayed there for about 2 hours like that then we decided to try out other clubs. We went to this pub called Gotham. I love this place man! There were live bands performances and the after that the music they played were R & B. I totally love this place!
